Here the actuator is disconnectoed from the trim spring, but you can see how it is mounted and how it connects to the manual trim lever
The canard is on the floor and upside down. The trim spring is a fiberglass leaf spring made from 6 plies of uni wrapped around the torque tube at one end and 2 steel bushings at the other. An AN3 bolt goes thru the bushings and attaches to the actuator. There ar 2 pop rivets to secure the spring to the torque tube to be sure it doesn't debond.
