My project and I are alive and well!  I've embarked on a new updraft cooling scheme.  I've fabricated an enclosed plenum under the engine.  With this configuration, all cooling air is contained to the space and volume under the engine.  All cooling air flows through the engine (and oil cooler).  It does not collect and stagnate in the wing roots and firewall areas.   Click here for more details.
