I just recently got an Icom a-200 for my veze that didn't come with an antenna. am in need of info on an antenna I currently have a 3 ft. tube on the back of drivers seat that original builder installed it worked well with the portable A24 I have been using until I needed to talk to tower in class B at 30 mi range. tower could not read well enough to let me enter class B. any sugestions on type antenna to use would like to keep it inside if possible. :?:

well i got the position lights on the eze but could not get the strobes had to send them back because the original owner did not install a big enough tube through the wing to install the wire for strobes so going to put anti collision on the belly thanks  again for all the useful info the rebel

in my travels when the daylight is longer i have no problem with time factors but when the days are shorter i like to get a jump on sunup  and so just want to stay legal fo takeoff before sunup and coming back just after sundown and guess it wouldn't hurt to be seen better in daylight since everyone has a hard time seeing the eze around my home base. thanks for all the helpful info, will try airplane gear. :D   the rebel

« on: February 27, 2007, 07:37:53 PM »
I just finished replacing my canopy on my verieze used a dremmel to cut old glass out of frame . Had problem getting the right canopy for eze but finally made the canopy I recieved work after about 40 hours of work it is ready for test flight. I laid up three bids of ply on the outside and three on the inside aprox 1 inch on the plexiglass. had to modify the frame to make the new canopy fit. its a long story . but it looks good. if you need exact details you can email me a rebel777@frontier
